Weekly Maintenance
Test Water (see instructions on test kit)
Fill Chlorinator (if applicable)
Add maintenance doses of chemicals as needed (i.e. sequestering agents, algaecides, and muriatic acid)
Empty skimmer(s)
Empty pump basket(s)
Remove any debris or obstructions from the main drain cover
Brush tile line and hard to reach areas of the pool
Add water to middle of tile line

Bi Weekly Maintenance
Add maintenance dose of selected chemicals (example, enzyme products)
Make sure all chemicals are properly stored away from equipment

Once a Month
Get water tested (by a store professional) add balancing chemicals
Remove obstructions and combustibles from around the pump and heater
Make sure no gas smell around the heater

Twice a Year
Clean filter – cartridges or DE grids, sand cleaning chemical
Make sure your suction outlet has been installed and maintained correctly, screwed down, undamaged and certified for the correct application
Make sure skimmer covers in place screwed down, undamaged
Verify that the pressure gauge on your filter is in proper working order and the pressure is within the operating range of the filter
Make sure O-rings on pump and filter are sealed properly
Bleed off air in the system as described in your owner’s manual
Make sure there are no leaks from any of the equipment on or near the equipment pad
